Derecho. Organo del Estado, encargado de velar por la garantía del orden jurisdiccional, juzgando cualquier alteración del mismo, con arreglo a un código de normas preexistentes, o produciendo su propio Derecho.
Derecho. Lugar destinado a los jueces para administrar justicia y pronunciar sentencias. Organo unipersonal o colegiado de la administración judicial del Estado, al que corresponde velar por el cumplimiento de las leyes y con autoridad para juzgar, conforme a las mismas, todos los asuntos que ante él se presenten, ya sea de oficio o a instancia de parte.
